Priority Projects

The city’s business sector, along with the government has decided to base economic development in the city of Rosarito for the next six years, and the following have been given “high priority” status:

Industrial Park

Government Agency: State Ministry of Economic Development

Has a site with a surface are of 240 hectares reserved by the Mazatlan Ejido (communal agricultural organization) as well as a feasibility study.

Playa Norte

Government Agency: Ministry of Tourism

There is a favorable feasibility study and Federal government support to start and executive project.

Puerto Nuevo

Government Agency: Ministry of Tourism

Currently an Urban Design Project is being worked created for ordinances in Puerto Nuevo.

Great City Park

Government Agency: City Government.

A site with surface area of 45 hectares is secured and funds are being requested from the Federal government for an executive project.
